Welcome to

castlevania logo

Caslevania Kingdom is the home of one of the great action/RPG/platforms of he gaming world. It is here, that I make my debut section that stands outside of the Final fantasy Realm. I have always had a great respect for Castlevania, ever since I got my hands on the original in 1991. To this day, I have yet to be able to defeat that game, and several other titles within the series.
It is the love of the challenge that has made me a fan of Castlevania, and it is the reason I have decided to go with this section first. I want in time to play all the titles in the series, as well as provide coverage for the series. All you will like to know on this and that concerning Castlevania, will be placed within Castlevania Kingdom. But as with Final Fantasy Kingdom, this cannot not be done by me alone.
You, the visitors are the greatest help, with your comments, suggestions, and requests. They have provided astounding help with Final Fantasy Kingdom, and I would hope they can do the same here.
So come in, and enjoy the legacy that is

Castlevania: The final word in good and evil.

What is it about the Castlevania series that has captivated the gaming world for more than 20 years? This single series has managed to escape harsh criticism of being nothing more than just rehash after rehash. In the platform genre of the gaming industry the Castlevania series continues to be one of the most sought after, popular games, ranking right along side classics such as Mario, Sonic, and even more modern games such as Jak and Dexter, and Sly Cooper. A great deal of Castlevania’s popularity can be credited to the meat of the game (Horror is one of the most popular subjects in the world). But this is not the reason that after 20+ years, it is still here. What makes this series so popular is that it has forever changed and evolved with each new title, while keeping true to the series’s heart. This creats a game that's both familiar and entirely new. A combination that has kept old fans happy and attracted new generations all the time.
The biggest misconception is that Castlevania (Released on the NES in 1987) was the first title in the series. Castlevania actually got its beginning before this title. In 1986, Konami released a new game called Vampire Killer for the MSX, which features a small red tunic-clad hero with a whip, and he can walk, jump, and occasionally fire a special weapon. Very much like the well known Belmonts do now. Unknown at the time, this simple character would become the backbone protagonist for an entire series. Castlevania has seen more than 18 games spread out over 12 different consoles, a feat no other series has been able to accomplish. With each new release, there was something new added, but it always was not so much that the older fans were left out of the game.
Castlevania’s history is long, and interesting. In Castlevania Kingodom, I will in time, cover every single Castlevania title, from Vampire Killer up to Judgment, in development for the Wii, and all titles in between. I will do my best to bring you information, on every aspect of the titles covered, as well as full on bestiaries, and bosses. Whatever you want to know in the series, I will place here. So come one in, make yourself at home, and join in the everlasting struggle between good and evil that is
