Magi-Tek Armor

There are only three times you will use this mode of transportation. The first is in the very beginning of the game, when you investigate the Esper in Narshe. The second time is when you are in the Imperial Base outside of Doma Castle. The final time is in Cyan's dream world, when you are trying to save him. While in This armor, you can only use the attacks it has. The only exception is with Terra. She is also able to use magic.

Chocobo's

Chocobo's once again are found as a main source of transportation. These docile birds can be rented from stables found in various towns around the world. (Though some stables are hidden on the world map) While on a Chocobo, you are not subject to random encounters. Once you dismount one, it will scurry right back to its stable.

Ferry

The Ferry is a ship that travels between Nikeah, and South Figaro. You have no control over this ship. The Ferry is even mobile after the world gets torn apart.

Airship/Falcon

Setzer is the only person in the world who posseses an airship. Once you escape Vectar, it is yours to use. In the world of ruin, Setzer once again comes to the rescue with his airship: the Falcon. Once you get Falcon, it is yours.
