Edgar's Skill-Tools

The king of Figaro Castle has a great knowledge of mechanical devices. He has even fashioned some weapons that can be used.
Edgar's tools are some of the best weapons in the game. You begin with only three of them, but you will quickly gain more. Each tool has a special attack, that can confuse, blind and damage your enemies. There is even one that can KO a enemy with a single shot. (Including a nice Jason Voorhes nod :D

Auto Crossbow
250
Shoots all enemies for damage

Noise Blaster
500
Confuses most enemies on screen

Bio Blaster
750
Shoots toxic gas at enemies (may poison them)

Debilitator
5000
Creates a different elemental weakness on target

Flash
1000
May blind enemies while causing damage

Drill
3000
Causes major damage to one enemy, regardless of defense

Chainsaw
-
Causes extreme damage to one enemy, or may KO them

Air Anchor
-
When hit, the enemy will die upon their next move

Locations

Most of Edgar's tools can be purchased at Figaro Castle, as the game progresses. On your first visit, the Auto Crossbow, Bio Blaster, and Noise Blaster can be purchased. (The bio and Noise Blasters can also be purchased your first time to South Figaro.)
On the second visit, while hunting for Terra, you can get the Flash and Drill.
Yhe first visit in the W.O.R., the Debilitator becomes available.
The final two tools cannot be purchased in any shop, in either world.

The chainsaw is acquired in the town of Zozo. At the inn, the clock there needs to be reset. The details of getting the time are very long, and a bit consuming. The weapon shop has the minutes. The clerk says the clock is wrong, but as you know, everyone in Zozo lies. Go then to the central tower, and talk to the line of people there. They will determine for you that the hour is not 2, 4, 8, 10, or 12. Random towns folks will clue you into the fact that the seconds is neither 20 or 30, and cannot be divided by 20. If you are still stumped, the answer is...6:10:50. Once you set the right time, the wall moves, and the stairs leading to the Chainsaw are revealed.

The Air Anchor is not anywhere near as hard as the Chainsaw. It is found in the Tower of Fanatics, in the W.O.R. In the first room, go to the right of the chest, and hit the action button. this will cause another door below to appear. The air anchor can be found in this room. Remember though, that you can only use magic in the tower. If you have weak spells, or do not have Mog and his Mululu's Charm, I would suggest holding off on getting it. Trust me it isn't going anywhere.
